Ted and Robin Ray have dedicated their lives to education, service, and creating opportunities for young people. Ted graduated from the University of Montana in 1988 with degrees in Computer Science and Business Finance, where he was also a student-athlete, competing in football and track. He remained closely connected to the UM community through his involvement with Sigma Alpha Epsilon.
Robin graduated from the University of Notre Dame in 1985 with a degree in Management Information Systems and was a member of the Notre Dame volleyball team, balancing academic excellence with athletic commitment.
After college, Ted and Robin spent 15 years working as IT professionals in the banking and telecommunications industries. For the past 25+ years, they have owned and operated Goddard Schools in Atlanta and Orlando, providing high quality early childhood education and supporting thousands of families.
The Ray Family Scholarship honors their lifelong commitment to learning, leadership, and service by supporting SAE members attending the University of Montana. The scholarship is awarded to students who demonstrate strong character, leadership, and a dedication to personal and academic growth, continuing the Rays’ legacy of empowering future generations.
